PLAY A READING GAME: CAT COVER UP (Alphabetical Order)
If you are working on the Phonics Fiends reading program, you can use the cat in an alphabet game. Play CAT COVER UP. Place alphabet magnets or letter tiles in a line across the table or floor. Have your child close his or her eyes while you cover a letter with the cat cone. Have your child open their eyes. Ask, “Which letter is missing?” Play again, covering a different letter. Or let your child cover a letter and you be the guesser. This game will help your child with alphabetical order.
