JUST A JIFFY JET
Kids like making paper airplanes. This one is easy to make and it’s a good flier. If you make this craft on a nice day, you can take it outside and have flying competitions.
PLAY A SPELLING GAME: SKY WRITER
Have your child use the jet to write words in the air. You say, “Can your jet spell jet?” You child uses his or her hand, with the jet in it, to sky write a j, an e, and a t. Ask him or her to spell a different word.
PLAY A READING GAME: JET BANNERS
Put a sentence strip in the jet’s tail. Ask your child to read the jet’s message.
