Origami is a great way to make a useful paper object. This paper cup actually holds water…until it gets too soggy to hold water. But if you need a quick drink of H2O, this cup will work!
You can also use it to hold small snacks.
READING GAME
If you are using the Phonics Fiends reading program, this cup can hold the flashcards. Place the word cards in the cup. Have your child choose one card at a time from the cup and read the word. If read correctly, they can keep the card. If not, put it back in the cup. Play until they’ve correctly read 10 word cards.
MIXED UP SENTENCES GAME
Use the sight word cards and the phonetic word cards to make a sentence. (Ex. I am the man.) Mix up the cards and place them in a paper cup. Have your child remove the cards from the cup and use them to make a sensible sentence.
