QUADS AND QUINTS
This craft has two different paper doll chains to cut out and decorate. One chain has 4 people (quadruplets). The other chain has 5 people (quintuplets) . You can make them for fun or use them in one of the activities below.
ALPHABET ACTIVITY: You can make 3 of each set and use them as an alphabet line (27 total paper people). Print a letter of the alphabet on each paper doll. Have the kids cut 26 small pictures from magazines to represent the beginning sound of each letter of the alphabet. Glue each picture to the doll with the matching letter.
COUNTING ACTIVITY: If you are working on numbers with younger children, your kids can number the paper dolls and use them as a number line to count forward and backward or to add and subtract.
MULTIPLICATION ACTIVITY: If you are working on multiplication , you can use these dolls to demonstrate. (For example: 3 sets of 4 people = 12 people or 6 sets of 5 people = 30 people.)
