Your child will learn the new sounds and sight words while reviewing everything they learned in the previous workbooks.  They will be able to sound out several new words and read lots of new sentences and stories.  Synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms are introduced.

Vowel Diphthongs

Each player takes a spoon.  Choose a word bubble from the folder pocket and read the word to collect an ingredient for your stew.  Keep playing until all of the cards have been removed from the folder pocket.  Who will make the grossest stew?
